The obsession with every factor involved in fitness, the compulsive calculation of calories and the psychological discipline required in understanding yourself. Losing weight, getting fit - it's an extreme sport.

Jalebis today
Treat day today - had jalebis along with the Subway for the evening meal! I guess it's okay as long as it's once in a while ONLY!

New trainer and too many chips at night
Trained with new trainer Prashant - working with him at 11 AM now through the IPL. He seems good, knows his stuff.
Also another note: having too much nachni / soya chips as treat snacks late at night. Can't do this very often. Not at night. Enjoy them at other times.

Dinner late
Dinner late by more than an hour - 5.15 to 9.30. Did have an apple and orange in between but not great to do this. Also, had the regular catered afghan chicken, which is oily and rich. Not so great. Got to carry grilled fish etc. from home for dinner.
Too much peanut butter
The title says it all - have to lay off and eat only on workout days, that too not always!

Self training
Second day of self training today - worked on the back, full routine from 10 PM to 11 PM. It's been interesting to try and do this without Ali but I think it was about time. The important thing is to watch the form really closely and avoid any sort of injury. Proper form, figuring out the right weights - not too light or too heavy - and 15 reps each set.
