Went on a holiday so was on a layover from exercise for 15 days. Came back and am finding the routine quite tough, though we did 3 light ones for the first week. Haven’t been doing the aerobic routine at all (walking/running) since I’m anticipating the swimming to take over, but that’s just wrong. I’m going today for the walk and will test my feet with a 2 round run at Jogger’s Park. Also I have stuck to the diet so far but am I getting complacent with in-between meals chomping of soya chips and the like? It’s not about the calories but about avoiding bad habits – and what’s more, the chips are not genuine “diet” at all but have plenty of vegetable oil content. Watch out! Have to keep the weight off for a full year. Celebrations only on
Simply put, my attempts at dropping 20 kgs over the course of a year and the things that accompany it. The obsession with every factor involved in fitness, the compulsive calculation of calories and the psychological discipline required in understanding yourself. Losing weight, getting fit - it's an extreme sport.
