Over-eating?

Over-eating?

Travelling is such a problem because ones sense of proportion goes out of the window! I don't know if I'm eating too little or too much. Tough to stick to all the fully correct meals so have ingested butter, oil and wine (though in small quantities). The one big tendency is to overest on the chanas, because of the hunger pangs! Space the meals, small portions, eat often. Very small size snacking.

Cheesy high calorie dinner!

Felt like weeks and weeks of dicipline being wasted at the vegetarian restaurant official dinner today in Brighton, when the dinner turned out to be such a cheese and other fats filled affair. What vegetarian cuisine does not have in terms of protein, it tries to fill in terms of calories.
 
This after managing to stick to (more or less) a pretty good diet over the last few months, including on this trip despite so much temptation and at the dangerous risk of starvation. Feels like I must have put back 5 kgs on! Well, inspiration to be found there again my friend - stay away from such meals even on official type outings. Renew the pledge and eat very well and healthy for the next week to repent!

The beginning of the slow jogging era!

Did 5 kms in 48:00 at Jogger's Park - red letter day since it's the beginning of a revised target after a long time, so far was doing only 4.2 kms.

Yesterday, did a training session with DJ so that's another step forward.

Diet is more under control after consulting Niti, feel fuller all day and have included soya milk and skim-dahi lassi as well as soup to the diet, which makes an amazing difference. Peas and carrots are off limits as are sweeter, high-calorie varieties fruit (mango, cheeku, banana etc.) as well as beetroot and tubers.

Weight's at 102 kgs now. Feeling much better. Now is the time to consolidate and concentrate on sticking to this routine, that's good enough for the next phase.

Important developments!

Now at 102 Kgs - from 122 Kgs a few months ago. Just a few ppunds from the 100 Kgs mark!
 
Motivation flagging as far as exercise goes, need to address and look at ways of keeping this consistent.
 
New target, 5 Kms in 45 min.
 
Nutrition plan in action now - 2nd visit to Niti in a month. Good thing is, can have soups and lassi! Need to cut back to 4 fruit a day. Snacks can be chana and/or soy milk. Better to have a Granola bar and soy milk than skip a meal.
